THE DREAM THAT SHOOK MY NIGHT

On a warm sunday night
Afore I went to deep sleep
Had my alarm clock wound at five
To wrap up for exam, lest I weep.

I sat hapless in the dark
Without a wink of slumbler
In came a ' horrendous ' dream
That leaft me in a state of whimpher

I strolled towards my exam hall
With bits of worry and angst
Sat down to review the equations,
Theorems and proofs of maths.

Whilst I sat grouting for the blue print
A friend came to query
A doubt of physics ,I said :" I'd try after exam,
Don't worry"She was surprised,

said she:"what need us of maths and physics?
"I gasped in freight,stood perplexed,
Shell-shockedI had studied the wrong subject !

The bell rang : students lost their way
I kept beeating the wall , cursing the bell.
I panted " What to do ,what to write?
I grouned.....I yelled " I can write"

I should " I didn't study"I screamed,
I snarled.I heard a crash!Out came,
my own self.I jumped up;to my surprise
It was 5 ' o' clock,time to walk up for studies
